Remember.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.
— Psalms 77:11-12 NIV

Remember who you were. Lost. Confused. Ignorant. Superficial. Prideful. Envious. Angry. Empty. Insecure. Fearful.

Remember how you felt. Alone. Forsaken. Abandoned. Rejected. Overlooked. Ashamed. Unworthy.

Remember what they said.

Remember the moments. The tears. The uncertainty. The chaos. The pain. The empty seeking. The failed relationships. The sadness. The emptiness. The sickness. The lack. The unworthiness. The fear. The doubt. The disappointment. The bondage. The mindless wandering.

Remember who He was in those moments.

Remember who He is. The patience. The kindness. The gentleness. The whispers. The winks of understanding. The comfort. The love. The forgiveness. The redemption. The filling of His spirit. The salvation. The resurrection. The freedom.

Hallelujah. Lord, you are worthy. You are glorious. You are a healer. A transformer. The ultimate creator. Thank you for resurrecting dead things. Thank you for the promise of an abundant life. A life that overflows with your goodness.

Thank you for going after the one. For coming after me. For finding me, picking me up, and taking me with you. Thank you for holding my hand on this journey of life. For whispering your promises in my ear when shame and fear try to remind me of my past.

What an amazing God. What an awesome God. I am in awe of you. You are the only constant. You stay the same. Your love is so encompassing. So deep. So wide. I pray I understand at least 50% of how much you love me. Love us. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for creating a new story. A new life. Thank you for making new creations from the rubble of the past. You do all things well ❤️
